We may be a good fit if you’re…
Needing to process and heal from painful or traumatic experiences
Seeking to develop insight into relationship dynamics and patterns in order to create change
Ready to explore how the your past has impacted present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
Struggling to navigate tangible or disenfranchised grief and loss
Navigating concerns or questions related to identity or a major life transition
With awareness of who we are and how we came to be, we can begin to explore what we want and how to move towards growth.
We are all shaped by our previous relationships, experiences, and contexts. I come to the therapist/client relationship with sincere curiosity and appreciation for each person’s lived experiences. Our relationship is central to our work, and I invite each individual to bring their full selves into the therapeutic work.
My approach is guided by collaboration, warmth, empathy, and humor. Together, we can identify how your experiences have shaped you, your life, and your relational patterns. This may include understanding how your identities have impacted the way you experience the world — and how you have been effected by the way the world has experienced and responded to you. Identifying influences that have shaped you can create a new lens as you untangle old and unhelpful patterns, grieve tangible and intangible loss, integrate difficult past experiences, create deeper self-awareness, and make meaning of your experiences.
In addition to the content you bring, I find value in exploring the process of the therapeutic work and relationship — meaning not just what you bring, but how you bring it — can provide insight into your internal landscape. Each individual needs something different from therapy. I value the uniqueness of each therapeutic relationship, and aim, with our relationship as the rooted foundation of our work, to support you in achieving your goals for change.
